I’m Dave. DevOps Engineer living in a small Polish village, surrounded by evergrowing queue of unfinished projects.
I build things that (sometimes) work and attempt to keep old things running. I strive to self-host my own infrastructure, shoot film, own physical media, maintain 90s cars, and resurrect hardware most people would rather throw away. I buy used, fix before I replace, and race to see the limits of what I maintain.
I’m a FOSS maximalist, right-to-repair advocate, and technology optimist. I believe the best tools are the ones you control and understand.
If you can’t repair something, you don’t really own it.
